Oops! I’m actually a parent

Is your sibling bulling you?

Having an older sibling can be great, but sometimes they can be mean or hurtful. If you are being bullied by an older sibling, it's important to know that it's not your fault and you don't have to put up with it.

Here are some steps you can take if you are being bullied by an older sibling:

1.) Talk to someone: It's important to talk to someone you trust, like a parent, guardian, or another adult, about what is happening. They can provide support and help you figure out what to do.

2.) Stand up for yourself: You can tell your sibling that their behavior is hurtful and ask them to stop. It can be hard to stand up to someone who is bigger or older than you, but it's important to let them know that their behavior is not okay.

3.) Stay away: If your sibling continues to bully you, it's okay to stay away from them. Spend time in a different room or with a friend or family member until things calm down.

4.) Get help: If the bullying continues or gets worse, it's important to get help from a trusted adult. They can talk to your sibling and help them understand how their behavior is affecting you.

Remember, being bullied by an older sibling is not your fault, and you have the right to feel safe and respected in your own home. By speaking up and getting help, you can work to put an end to the bullying and create a more positive and supportive family environment.
